Meet The Team

We are a dedicated team which strives to provide success to our clients in regards to all their accountancy needs. Our team is very close-knit and ensures that a unified support is provided to you whenever you need it. With expertise covering all aspects of accountancy, taxation and business advisory services, we are well placed to take a holistic view to planning for the future as well dealing with specific matters.

Mark Simmons-Managing Director/Tax and Accounts Specialist

Mark has over thirty years’ experience in the accountancy profession dealing with owner managed businesses. As well as ensuring that their accounts and tax affairs are in order and any liability minimised, Mark deals with all manner of clients’ problems; finding solutions, micro management of business/tax decisions and communicating these to clients in a clear, efficient and cost effective manner.  Outside of work Mark Enjoys keeping fit, walking his dogs, music, going to festivals, and studying Medieval and Roman history.

Aisha Waldron – Marketing Manager – Company Secretary & Payroll Adminstrator

Aisha is our longest serving employee with over fifteen years experience in company secretarial work with the firm.   Aisha works updating client limited company statutory records, completing minutes and resolutions, dealing with all manner of Company Secretarial compliance and more recently dealing with all our marketing  & website matters.  Outside of work Aisha enjoys attending to her allotment, walking her dogs, photography,  music, loves her cats and most importantly  being a mum.

Lauran Hurst – Client Relationship Senior Accounts & Tax Support

Lauran has been with the firm for over 12 years and with her 12 years experience focuses on accounts preparation and compliance, bookkeeping solutions, corporate tax planning and personal tax work.  Lauran enjoys being a Mum to her two small children, taking day trips with the family,  socialising with friends and loves nothing better than a beach holiday in the sunshine.

Shane White – Senior VAT/Bookkeeper & Accounts Assistant

Shane has been with the firm over seven years and works full time organising clients books and records, completion of client bookkeeping and VAT returns, completion of detailed analysis work, bank reconciliations and dealing with all manner of office file and data management.  Outside of work Shane enjoys carpentry and design, movies, reading, cycling and golf.

Adele Barton – Senior Administrator & Company Secretary

Adele’s principal duties include all manner of administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the office including putting clients in touch with the right staff member, document and file management,  secretarial work, new client procedures, GDPR compliance and health and safety compliance.  Adele has over 15 years of administrative experience and works along side the accounting and tax team assisting them with their administrative duties.  Outside of work Adele enjoys being a Mum to her two children along with socialising with friends and family including some neat dance moves in the kitchen.

Finlay Randall – Semi-Senior Accounts & Payroll Administrator

Finlay has worked in the accountancy profession for over 4 years and is on his final level of Accounting Technician qualification. Finlay deals with all manner of accounts preparation and helps support senior staff with meeting their objectives and deadlines. Outside of work Finlay enjoys helping and leading children’s youth/church groups, going to festivals, acting, dancing and computer gaming specifically MOBA’s.

Bella Simmons – Company mascot

Bella the cocker spaniel has no experience in accountancy what so ever but is a very valued member of the team. She is always ready at the door to greet our existing clients with a friendly wag of the tail and is especially fond of the postman (in a good way) Bella has been Marks right hand companion for 12+ years.
